Air Experience Flights & Vouchers

The best way to see if gliding is the sport for you is to experience it in one of Melbourne Soaring’s two seat aircraft with one of our qualified Flight Instructors. You can sit back and enjoy the view, take photos or even try the controls while in flight.

You can purchase Air Experience Flight vouchers from Melbourne Soaring online (see below). Air Experience Flight vouchers will be sent by email after purchase.

You do not need to book for an Air Experience Flight. Feel free to visit us at Bacchus Marsh airfield, just contact us before coming to make sure the weather is okay. Please note that for safety reasons, there is a maximum weight limit of 110kg allowable for glider occupants.

A single flight costs $250, and this includes the aerotow launch to 3000 feet above our airfield before your glider is released.

If you don’t think that’s sufficient flying time to make a decision about taking up our extraordinary sport, a package deal of three flights for $600, with aerotows to the same 3000 feet launch height, is also available.
